A Car GPS Is Great, But The Surveys Are Provoking
Written by freetrafficsystem on September 16th, 2009There are many benefits to having a GPS system installed in your auto. If you’ve got the bad luck to be in an accident and your automobile is out of view or in a remote location, in this situation rescue crews will be able to find your automobile in a snap. You may use your GPS car system for finding your way if you get lost. This is particularly helpful at night, when the problem of being lost is worsened by not having the ability to see well around you.
This writer once lived in the woods in England for over three years.
Although I continue to listen to the radio from time to time, I tended to ignore the huge changes occurring in the real world. I originally heard the alphabet soup term “GPS” while I was still living in America, but always in the context of an army or large law enforcement or rescue agency. If I heard about an automotive GPS in a radio adverts, I never knew what they were talking about, and did not care to discover.
Welcome (Back) To America
Moving back to America, I was in for a severe culture shock. I evaded watching television as long as I could, but my mum (who took her wayward kid in) loved it, so the TV was on all of the time. I’d practically pound my head against the floor simply because I could not understand the commercials. My mom had to help me understand what “bling” meant. That was a little bit humbling.
At the time, I took PC lessons and tried to get my head together. I actually required an automotive GPS to figure out what I was doing. As a lark, I joined many online survey groups. I started getting free samples, and learned what a Garmin Nuvi automotive GPS was. I did not have much of a choice I was getting two or three GPS car tracking surveys a week.
Back In The Saddle Again
I realized that instead of being bothered by geeky jargon, auto GPS dashboard mounted devices were helpful and easily understandable gadgetry that might help improve the quality of life. Imagine if the youngsters of Israel had GPS car tracking units strapped to their donkeys and camels.
They wouldn’t have wandered around in the desert for forty years. They would’ve found the best road to The promised Land before dinner.
Folks of my generation and younger get so easily lost because it is simply too dangerous to go anywhere. Whenever we plan a road trip, we must permit at least 3 hours to get lost and then find our way again. Think of the waste of gas.
But with an automobile GPS unit, you do not have to waste gas or time to get to your destination. I speculate how much gas is saved by using automobile GPS units.
If I go back to the woods, I believe I’ll take a Garmin Nuvi automotive GPS device with me. Perhaps then I could make better calls about my life.
