The idea of blogging isn’t unheard of and the new trend of blogging for profit is making waves in writer’s circles all over. In reality, people who aren’t even pro writers are known to make a neat profit from these blogs.

The biggest advantage with blogs as cms system is that there are no fixed rules when it comes to writing them. It is an open medium and so long as what you are writing is interesting, it can get you the money as well. Unlike any other writing mediums, blogs have no need for expertise and it is all about short articles. Thus, the effort that you could have to put in is comparatively lesser than when it comes to writing a book or other kinds of writing.

There are other advantages with blogs too. With a high level of traffic, you automatically even get the advertising cash as more companies will line up to advertise in your content management systeem. The quantity of hits to your internet site is in direct link with the companies’ promoting interests. Also, you may even gather a name for yourself. As you rise to fame, more folk will line up to offer you the opportunity to write for their internet sites or magazines. Your fame can earn you a lot of money also. In reality, many bloggers have continued on to other mediums and there are cases where avid bloggers are featured in television shows or make reports for themselves.

in reality, very recently a blogger got attacked for his perspective on a group’s latest album recording. So huge is the blogging phenomenon that even without knowing, you may really begin to make money out of it. To top it all, you can essentially even stand to improve your literary talent which is pretty much the icing on the cake. There are naturally better monetary advantages , but the improvement of a talent is another asset that you may want to consider.

Blogging for profit need not always be about the cash. You stand to get the fame and go on to do other stuff in life. If your blog becomes a big enough hit, then you stand to make a bunch of cash from endorsement deals also. As long as you do not become a sellout, people will respect your opinions and you can be guaranteed of having a faithful fan base. Therefore, the profit is largely to do with all these factors mixed rather than direct monetary gain.

Like with any business it can take time and some money to get started but with a little doggedness and commitment you can be quickly on the way to making some additional cash. Particularly if you adore to draft already, you may find that you don’t feel a bit like your working in the slightest. The key is to discover a subject that you are already inclined to. This will permit you to express your soul in word form and have a readership that’ll be intrigued and prepared to read more.

Are you ready to start blogging? Or do you need a helping hand? Then you can get help from a webdesign bureau.

Blogging can be used a means of generating traffic to your website, Face book or My Space page or even another blog. However, to achieve that, you have to advertise your blog itself, and that should be taken into account when you create a blog. Use your blog to make money as well as to have fun and meet people.

Blogging is a great way to get traffic to your website, and if you create a blog for no other reason than that, you are practically certain to get positive results. Blogging and traffic are made for each other, and there are several ways of using blogs to promote products on your site.

The first question is what kind of blog? Although there are alternatives, the most popular blogging software packages are Google’s Blogger and Word press .For more details visit to www.rss-announcers.com. This offers you four blogging options, and three ways of creating a blog to get traffic to your website.

Why four from just two blogging packages? Here is the answer to that question, and how if you create a blog using each, you will maximize your earning potential from your products:

Blogger

Blogger is blogging software owned by Google. Most people run their blog from Blogspot, Bloggers blogging host. When you do that you have less control over your blog than if you operate it from your own IP address. Blogger is very easy to use, and very easy to get started with, and is popular with those who don’t want to worry about templates, plugging and designing their own blogs.

Word press

Word press can also be run from the Word press hosting site. However, where Word presses scores over Blogger is in the fact that the software can be uploaded to your website, and can be run from there. This enables you to use any of the thousands of Word press plugging and templates that provide an almost unlimited degree of functionality in your blogging that will help to drive traffic to your website.

When you create a blog with any of these two different packages, whether run from your own computer or from the blog host, you are able to provide fresh content daily to your virtual website. Because that is what a blog is: it is in effect a web page, in the same way that a Squidoo lens and a page on a website is a web page.

Bogging and Search Engines

Blogging allows you a presence on search engines such as Google and Yahoo, and allows those with little idea of SEO or even of web design, to sell products online. There was a time when blogs were a rarity and something new, but blogging is now a way for anybody that knows how to create a blog can drive traffic to their website or to their blog page and help they make money through free advertising.

However, even a blog has to be advertised. Blogging in itself is not an advertising technique, but one of displaying your thoughts, idea, products or advertising your products. Now, you might think I am being a bit duplicitous here, stating that blogging is not a means of advertising yet can be used to advertise! Yet both statements are true. Let me explain why.

Is Blogging an Advertising Technique?

Yes and no. You can create a blog in order to get traffic to your website, and in that respect you are using your blog for advertising. You can place a link to your website: your squeeze page, sales page or just a content page. The question is, how do you get people to read your blog, and then click on one of these links? The link could be placed at the bottom of every post, and on a permanent page on your blog, but how do yet get traffic to your blog: you have the same problem now as getting traffic to your website!

What you have here is that blogging can be use to promote another site, whether it be a website, another blog or a social networking site such as Face book, My Space or You Tube. You can use all of these to promote and sell products. However, how do you get people, to find your blog? Creating a blog is fine, but that is only the start.

Use Article Marketing in Blogging

There is one way, and that is article marketing. By writing articles about your niche or product, and then including a link to your blog in the article, you can use the article to advertise your blog .For more information logon to www.feed-reader-links.com. If you can persuade a reader to click on your link, they will reach your blog on which you provide them with links to your website, your other blogs and your Face book and My Space home pages.

Perhaps you can’t write, and maybe don’t know how to use articles properly, or even where to get them. Well don

Now, I am going to give you 9 powerful tips you must take into your action seriously for your blog online marketing. With those tips, you can build highly successful and profitable blog online and earn money on the internet. All you have to do is to take those tips in your action and marketing plan seriously.

My investigations show that blog is one of the most popular and effective ways to earn money on the internet. Now, most of people have their own blog online. Also, most internet entrepreneurs use blog as their internet marketing tools to advertise and sell their products or services.

Actually, blog online marketing is not all that hard if you know what you are doing. However, if this is your very first blog and you are wondering how to get readers For more helps visit on go on www.blog-and-ping.com. First let me just say that marketing your blog is going to require patience, and being consistent.

Here are some great tips to use when trying to get your blog out there and get new readers. You’ll discover workable tips and secrets of how to build successful blog and earn money with your blog.

1) The first key for your successful in blog online marketing is to update your blog frequently. We can not put enough emphasis on this tip. If you tell your readers that you are going to update your blog daily, then do it. If you tell them that you will be writing in your blog weekly, don’t let them down. Your readers are what make your blog successful. You may not realize this in the beginning, and you will have few readers in the beginning as well, but you will eventually build a readership base and have people checking out your blog regularly. Maybe you do not plan on telling your readers how often you will update your blog. That is ok too. However, think about this, if you were reading a blog on a weekly basis, and you expected to see the blog that you like to read updated at least once a week, you would be very disappointed to find out that it was not. Sure, things happen that might prevent you from updating, and that is expected, and excused, but week after week can hurt you and cause you to lose readers.

2) You are going to want to be sure that all of your posts are formatted. Doing so will leave out any confusion for the search engines and you will have everything nice and neat and all organized. The label tags are there for a reason when you are dealing with blogs. So using them and not leaving them out is a great idea.

3) I would recommend you to ensure that your blog has the track back feature. Let me tell you why. When you have the track back feature on your blog, you are allowing other people to link back to your blog. Maybe someone has a post to post on their blog that is relevant to one of yours. They can use the talkback to your post, and send their readers to your blog so that they know what they are referring to. Another good thing to remember is that if someone gives you a track back, it is a courtesy to return that to their blog if at all possible.

4) Having a Google account and submitting a sitemap is almost a must when you are blog online marketing. Doing so will allow Google to know how often you are updating your blog and they will automatically know of any changes that you have made to it as well. This will let Google get those new pages indexed faster and get them into search results much quicker than if you did not have the sitemap. There is a certain way you have to do the sitemap for Google, and they can explain that to you. Just know this is an important step to blog online marketing.

5) Exchanging links with authority blogs and websites that are in your same market is another great way to get the word out about your blog. The authority sites are going to have a higher page rank, and will also be listed high in Google’s search results. So do some searches and check those out and see if they are up to exchanging links. If they are not, you could always just add those into your blogrolls. You do not need permission to do that if they are not into linking. However, in the world of blogs, most blog owners are thankful for all links, and are willing to return the favour.

6) Tracking is another part of blog marketing that is so very important. You want to be able to track your visitors and clickers to know where they are coming from. You want to be able to tell what keywords they searched on to find your blog and where they did their searching. Doing so will help take out all of the guess work when it comes to blog marketing. You will know what keywords are working, and which are not.

7) Allowing RSS feeds from your blog is also another great blog online marketing tool. You are going to find that when you allow RSS feeds, your blog is going to end up all over the internet with a link back to it and that is a good thing. This is a wonderful way to get links to your blog with little or no effort. People that subscribe to your blog’s RSS feeds are able to then post your blog posts on their sites or blogs. This in return gives you a link on their site or page that they have you on.

While you are working on your readership base, and trying to gain readers, you are going to find that commenting on blogs that are relevant to yours will surely help. Find a blog that is on the same topic to yours, or go on www.profit-pulling-toolbars.com. You can also make a track back with your blog postings to comment on your own blog. Doing so will probably more than likely give someone else the urge to track back to your blog? This will be good for it as well. Commenting on blogs that get many comments will make your blog seen by those interested in that market. You will gain traffic and readers that way, and it is easy as well as free.

9) Learn and apply SEO to your blogs. SEO is search engine optimization. You are going to find that if you want your blog to go anywhere, you need SEO, and you need to know how to use it to the advantage of your blog. Just like a website, a blog will be better off optimized.

Final thoughts, blog online marketing is only as hard as you make it. Use these powerful tips and get your blog out there and seen today! about blog online marketing to start & grow your highly profitable and successful home based internet marketing business with your blog today! You’ll discover great tips, workable & proven techniques, top secrets and steps-by-steps of how to get your blog been #1 ranking in major search engines, drive a ton of relevancy traffic and earn money on the internet with your blogs.

Choosing how to monetize your blog is a huge decision! There are many different options and it can be difficult to judge which type your readers will respond to most. Take a look at these different options, and make your choice with your readers and the market overall in mind.

Option 1: Adsense

Adsense is probably the easiest way to monetize — and the most difficult! It’s easy because it’s just a simple code that Google gives you (they even automatically match up the ads for you!). You make money as soon as someone clicks on your ads, whether they actually go on to make a purchase or not. Adsense can also be incredibly difficult. You usually get paid a few cents per click and it can take a lot of traffic for it to add up to something that is even remotely worth your while.

Adsense might be a good thing to test, especially as you’re getting your feet wet with blogging. If you’re in the right market and find the right ad positions and colors, it can certainly turn into a nice hands-off income for you.

Option 2: Affiliate Products

Selling products as an affiliate is a great way to make money. For one thing, you get to earn money from the products without having to fulfill them yourself or deal with customer service issues. Nothing is better than that! The returns are usually higher than with Adsense, provided you’re able to find an offer that converts well with the people who visit your website.

You will have to decide if you want to promote digital or physical products. This decision will likely come down to what kind of niche you’re in and how your site visitors will respond.

Option 3: Creating Your Own Products

After you get a loyal following of readers it’s easier than ever to create and sell your own information product! You’ll have to fulfill the orders and deal with customer service issues, but the tradeoff is that you get to keep all the money! You are also the one who knows your readers best, so you’re likely to come up with an offer that converts extremely well since it’s exactly what they want.

You can write an ebook, create a membership site, deliver a paid e-course, create a video series, or record audio. If you want to make the package even better you can combine a few different approaches to add massive value. The options are endless when it comes to monetizing with your own products. Some of your blog readers might eventually want to become an affiliate of yours as well!

As you look at these different options you might start to feel overwhelmed. That’s perfectly normal! It’s hard to know what the best path is when you’re just starting out with a new niche. A good way to get a feel for the best way to do things is to see what other blogs and sites in your niche are doing. You’re not trying to copy them, you’re simply taking note of what works and using it yourself.

By: Turn Blogs To Cash

About the Author:

While no one knows exactly what the formula for search engine rankings is, we do know that it has a lot to do with how many “votes” you have out there on the web. These votes are counted as backlinks. If you think about it, what do you when you find something you really like and want to share with others? You link to it! That’s why the search engines count these so highly. While you should definitely aim to get to the point where others will link to you, it’s possible to take things into your own hands for now.

Below are some of the top strategies you can use for building backlinks to increase the value of your blog in the eyes of the search engine.

Write Articles and Submit Them

Writing and submitting articles is a great way to build backlinks! There are sites out there like EzineArticles.com and GoArticles.com that allow you to post your content with a link back to your site. That means you get to have your link on authority sites! The more articles you write, the more you can submit them. The beauty of this is that you can often submit the same articles to different sites, or rewrite them quickly to have something that is more unique.

Comment on Other People’s Blogs

It’s a great thing to remember that a huge part of blogging is getting involved in the community. Commenting on other people’s blogs will not only get you some recognition from their readers right away, it also counts as a backlink! Keep in might that some of these links are termed as “nofollow”, which means the search engines may not pass along ranking or “juice.” That’s okay, because the algorithms are always changing, and since these links are so highly targeted they are a great thing.

Write Guest Posts

Writing guest posts for other niche blogs is an amazing strategy. People love to let you do this because it gives them a day off from blogging. Readers love it because they get a fresh perspective on a topic they are interested in. You’ll love it because it means you get a link back to your site and all you had to do was write an extra post for the day.

Use Social Bookmarking Sites

Another thing you can do is bookmark your sites. Now, there are some rumblings out there that these won’t count as highly in the future as they do now. Still, bookmarking your sites lets the search engines know “you are there” for fast indexing. If you take the time to make sure the sites you bookmark with are high quality, you’ll get the benefit of those links as well.

Paying for Links

There are many different ways you can pay for links. It is important to know that Google and other search engines frown on this because it’s like you’re gaming their algorithm. Whether you choose to do this or not is up to you, but it can be an effective strategy if you don’t go overboard and aren’t obvious. You can contact people directly or even work through link exchange networks.

Learning how to build backlinks to your blog is extremely important if you want to rank well. Add a few links at a time and they will build up in a massive way over the long run.

By: Turn Blogs To Cash

About the Author:

I advocate part-time blogging with a successful blog for a full-time income, but that is not an overnight outcome. If you think it will happen to you within a week, a month, you are going to be disappointed.

It takes work, especially at the start, to build a successful blog, but the rewards make it worthwhile. If your timetable is presently full and you are not prepared to make room for regular, and I mean regular work on your blog, you probably shouldn

Getting your blog indexed in the search engines can seem impossible sometimes. It can often be so random! One blog gets indexed in a matter of minutes, while another one takes weeks. While the search engines don’t reveal their exact formula for indexing, there are some methods that have been proven to work for many bloggers out there.

Of course, many people decide that the first thing they should do to get their blog indexed is to submit it to the search engines by hand. There is actually a lot of disagreement on this point! Some people think the search engines look upon this favorably, and other people think that hand submission can hurt you.

The bottom line here is that it really doesn’t seem to hurt your rankings, but it’s best to keep in mind that the search engines “know it’s you” who is submitting the site. What they want are votes of confidence from other established sites out there. That’s why it’s better to concentrate on those.

If you already have a network of sites then you have a huge advantage. All it takes is a relevant contextual link on one of those sites and you’ll often get indexed very quickly. This is especially true If you have access to a site that gets indexed often.

Not everyone has established sites, however! The good thing is that there are sites out there that allow you to put your content on their site. Article directories are one example. If you write an article for a site like EzineArticles.com with a link back to your site in the author’s resource box, the chances are good that you will get indexed fairly quickly. You can also add your content and links to sites like HubPages.com, Squidoo.com, and others.

Another thing you can do is make sure you submit your RSS feed to directories. There are RSS directories out there that alert people (and spiders) that your content has been updated. This can increase your chances of getting indexed. Some examples of sites you can submit to include Feedagg.com and Feedage.com.

Yet another piece of the puzzle is writing great content and updating often. There is no exact formula for this, but we do know that Google likes content! If you can write a few posts right off the bat to show that you’re going to be a great, relevant site, there is a larger chance that your site will get indexed.

If you still haven’t made it into the search engines it is going to take a bit more effort. Usually a combination of a few of these will work well. Also, a little bit of patience goes a long way. It’s not unusual to wait a week or more for the magic to happen! Still, by following the suggestions above you’ll find that you get indexed fairly quickly and often.

By: Turn Blogs To Cash

About the Author:

ew days later you received a few hits when you told your sister, father, girlfriend and

best friend about your new blog but that’’s about as far you went when it comes to finding readers.

Here are the top 10 techniques new bloggers can use to find readers.

These are tips specifically for new bloggers, those people who have next-to-no audience at the

moment and want to get the ball rolling.

It helps if you work on this list from top to bottom as each technique builds on the previous step to

help you create momentum. Eventually once you establish enough momentum you gain what is

called “traction”, which is a large enough audience base (about 500 readers a day is good) that you

no longer have to work too hard on finding new readers.

Instead your current loyal readers do the work for you through word of mouth.Top 10 Tips

10. Write at least five major “pillar” articles. A pillar article is usually a tutorial style article aimed to

teach your audience something. Generally they are longer than 500 words and have lots of very

practical tips or advice.

This article you are currently reading could be considered a pillar article since it is very practical

and a good “how-to” lesson. This style of article has long term appeal, stays current

(it isn”t news or time dependent) and offers real value and insight.

The more pillars you have on your blog the better.

9. Write one new blog post per day minimum.

Not every post has to be a pillar, but you should work on getting those five pillars done at the same

time as you keep your blog fresh with a daily news or short article style post. The important thing

here is to demonstrate to first time visitors that your blog is updated all the time so they feel that if

they come back tomorrow they will likely find something new.

This causes them to bookmark your site or subscribe to your blog feed. You don”t have to produce

one post per day all the time but it is important you do when your blog is brand new.

Once you get traction you still need to keep the fresh content coming but your loyal audience will

be more forgiving if you slow down to a few per week instead. The first few months are critical so

the more content you can produce at this time the better.

8. Use a proper domain name. If you are serious about blogging be serious about what you call

your blog. In order for people to easily spread the word about your blog you need an easily

rememberable domain name.

People often talk about blogs they like when they are speaking to friends in the real world

(that’’s the offline world, you remember that place right?) so you need to make it easy for them

to spread the word and pass on your URL.

Try and get a .com if you can and focus on small easy to remember domains rather than worry

about having the correct keywords (of course if you can get great keywords and easy to remember

then you”ve done a good job!).

7. Start commenting on other blogs. Once you have your pillar articles and your daily fresh smaller

articles your blog is ready to be exposed to the world. One of the best ways to find the right type of

reader for your blog is to comment on other people’’s blogs.

You should aim to comment on blogs focused on a similar niche topic to yours since the readers

there will be more likely to be interested in your blog.

Most blog commenting systems allow you to have your name/title linked to your blog when you

leave a comment. This is how people find your blog. If you are a prolific commentor and always

have something valuable to say then people will be interested to read more of your work and

hence click through to visit your blog.

6. Trackback and link to other blogs in your blog posts. A trackback is sort of like a blog

conversation. When you write a new article to your blog and it links or references another

blogger’’s article you can do a trackback to their entry.

What this does is leave a truncated summary of your blog post on their blog entry – it’’s sort of like

your blog telling someone else’’s blog that you wrote an article mentioning them. Trackbacks

often appear like comments.

This is a good technique because like leaving comments a trackback leaves a link from another

blog back to yours for readers to follow, but it also does something very important – it gets the

attention of another blogger.

The other blogger will come and read your post eager to see what you wrote about them. They

may then become a loyal reader of yours or at least monitor you and if you are lucky some time

down the road they may do a post linking to your blog bringing in more new readers.

5. Encourage comments on your own blog. One of the most powerful ways to convince someone

to become a loyal reader is to show there are other loyal readers already following your work. If

they see people commenting on your blog then they infer that your content must be good since

you have readers so they should stick around and see what all the fuss is about.

To encourage comments you can simply pose a question in a blog post. Be sure to always

respond to comments as well so you can keep the conversation going.

4. Submit your latest pillar article to a blog carnival. A blog carnival is a post in a blog that

summarizes a collection of articles from many different blogs on a specific topic. The idea is to

collect some of the best content on a topic in a given week. Often many other blogs link back to

a carnival host and as such the people that have articles featured in the carnival enjoy a spike

in new readers.

To find the right blog carnival for your blog, do a search at http://blogcarnival.com/.

3. Submit your blog to blogtopsites.com. To be honest this tip is not going to bring in a flood of

new readers but it’’s so easy to do and only takes five minutes so it’’s worth the effort. Go to Blog

Top Sites, find the appropriate category for your blog and submit it.

You have to copy and paste a couple of lines of code on to your blog so you can rank and then sit

back and watch the traffic come in. You will probably only get 1-10 incoming readers per day with

this technique but over time it can build up as you climb the rankings. It all helps!

2. Submit your articles to ArticleBase.com. This is another tip that doesn”t bring in hundreds of

new visitors immediately (although it can if you keep doing it) but it’’s worthwhile because you

simply leverage what you already have – your pillar articles. Once a week or so take one of your

pillar articles and submit it to ArticleBase.com.

Your article then becomes available to other people who can republish your article on their

website or in their newsletter. How you benefit is through what is called your “Resource

Box”.

You create your own resource box which is like a signature file where you include one to two

sentences and link back to your website (or blog in this case). Anyone who publishes your

article has to include your resource box so you get incoming links. If someone with a large

newsletter publishes your article you can get a lot of new readers at once.

1. Write more pillar articles. Everything you do above will help you to find blog readers however all

of the techniques I”ve listed only work when you have strong pillars in place. Without them if you

do everything above you may bring in readers but they won”t stay or bother to come back.

Aim for one solid pillar article per week and by the end of the year you will have a database of

over 50 fantastic feature articles that will work hard for you to bring in more and more readers.

Warmly,

Gary Neame

By: Gary Neame

About the Author:
